Grüns Kids is a real, well-made kids multivitamin with fiber and a big whole-food blend, but its label has no calcium, no magnesium and no omega-3 DHA. If you want a broad daily multi for a young child, Grüns is a fair pick, and the Sugar-Free version has 0g of added sugar. If your goal is bone and growth nutrients for a child or teen, Tallori prints more of the nutrients that matter for that job. We read both Grüns Kids labels line by line so you can judge for yourself.

Grüns (often typed Gruns) is one of the biggest names in gummy vitamins right now. Its kids line, Grüns Kids, is sold online and in stores like Target. All the facts below come from the Supplement Facts panels on the Grüns Kids product page, checked in October 2026. We compare it to Tallori honestly, including where Grüns is the better choice.

What is Grüns Kids?

Grüns Kids is a daily gummy multivitamin made for kids ages 2 to 13. One serving is one pack of gummies, 15 grams. A bag holds 28 packs.

It has 21 vitamins and minerals, plus a 6.3 gram blend of fruit and vegetable powders, mushrooms and fiber. Grüns calls it 60 plus ingredients. It is vegan, pectin based, and free of gluten, dairy and nuts.

There are two versions. Low Sugar uses cane sugar. Sugar-Free uses allulose and Reb M, a sweetener from the stevia plant. The vitamins and minerals are the same in both.

What is on the Grüns Kids Supplement Facts label?

Here are the main numbers from the label, per one pack:

  • Vitamin D3: 9.9mcg
  • Vitamin K2: 59.4mcg, as MK-7
  • Vitamin C: 46mg
  • Zinc: 1.36mg
  • Vitamin A: 445mcg, as retinyl palmitate
  • Iron: 2.23mg
  • B vitamins: B6, B12, folate, biotin and more
  • Fiber: 4g
  • Core Nutrients Blend: 6.3g, single doses not printed

What is not on the label matters just as much. We found no calcium, no magnesium and no omega-3 DHA. For a gummy sold as comprehensive daily nutrition, that is a real gap for bone health.

How much sugar is in Grüns Kids?

It depends on the version. The Sugar-Free pack has less than half a gram of total sugar and 0g of added sugar. The Low Sugar pack has 7 grams of added cane sugar.

Seven grams is a lot for a daily vitamin. The American Heart Association says kids should have less than 25 grams of added sugar a day (AHA, 2017). One Low Sugar pack uses up 28 percent of that before breakfast.

So if you buy Grüns Kids, pick the Sugar-Free version. Tallori has 0g of sugar in every gummy, sweetened with monk fruit and xylitol.

Is Grüns Kids legit?

Yes. Grüns is a real company that prints a full Supplement Facts panel with doses for every vitamin and mineral. That is more open than many kids brands.

Like Tallori, Grüns uses a blend whose single doses are not printed. Its blend is large, 6.3 grams, and holds the fiber, greens and mushrooms. Tallori's Clean Growth Blend is 112.4mg of botanicals, and those single doses are not printed either. Neither brand is hiding its vitamins and minerals. Both keep the botanical doses private.

Is Grüns Kids safe for kids?

For most kids, yes, when used as directed. A few things are worth knowing.

  • Iron. Grüns has 2.23mg of iron and carries the standard warning. NIH notes that accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 (NIH). Keep the bag out of reach of little kids.
  • Vitamin A. It uses retinyl palmitate, a preformed vitamin A. One pack has 445mcg. NIH sets the upper limit for preformed vitamin A at 900mcg a day for kids 4 to 8 (NIH). One pack is about half of that before any food. That is fine for most kids, but avoid doubling up with another multivitamin.
  • Fiber. Four grams of fiber is a plus for many kids. Some children may get gas at first. Starting slowly helps.

Tallori leaves out iron and vitamin A on purpose. We explain why in our guides to iron for growing kids and vitamin A for kids.

What do Grüns reviews say?

On Amazon, the Grüns Kids Sugar-Free 28 pack had 4.1 out of 5 stars from 306 ratings when we checked in October 2026. Many parents like the taste and the idea of greens in a gummy.

Online threads about Grüns are mostly about the adult product. They are mixed. Taste gets a lot of praise. Some people mention the price, and some report gas or bloating when they first start the fiber.

Be careful with any review that promises big changes from one gummy, for any brand, including ours. A vitamin fills gaps in the diet. It does not change a child overnight.

Where is Grüns Kids a good pick?

Grüns does some things well, and it is fair to say so.

  • Very young kids. Grüns is dosed for ages 2 and up. Tallori starts at age 5.
  • A broad multi. Grüns covers B vitamins, iron, iodine, selenium and vitamin A. Tallori does not.
  • Fiber. Four grams of fiber in a gummy is useful for kids who skip fruits and vegetables.
  • More vitamin C. Grüns has 46mg. Tallori has 25mg.
  • A sugar-free option. The Sugar-Free version has 0g of added sugar.

If those matter most, Grüns Kids may fit your family well.

Grüns figures from its Supplement Facts panels, read October 2026. Tallori figures from the Tallori label.

The short version: Grüns is a wide, general multi for younger kids. Tallori is a focused formula for the growing years, built around bone nutrients and DHA.

Why do parents switch to Tallori?

Most switches come down to the label and the age range.

  1. Calcium and magnesium. Tallori has 300mg of calcium and 50mg of magnesium. Grüns Kids lists neither. Kids 9 to 18 need 1,300mg of calcium a day, and NIH says many children and teens get less than they need (NIH). See our guide to how much calcium kids need.
  2. Bigger doses where it counts. Tallori has 25mcg of vitamin D3 against 9.9mcg, 100mcg of K2 as MK-7 against 59.4mcg, and 6mg of zinc against 1.36mg.
  3. Omega-3 DHA. Tallori has 50mg of DHA from algae oil, vegetarian with no fishy taste. Grüns Kids has none. Our omega-3 guide explains why it matters for picky eaters.
  4. Teens. Grüns Kids is dosed for ages 2 to 13. Tallori covers ages 5 to 18, so it can stay with your child through the teen years.
  5. Zero sugar in every bag. There is no high-sugar version of Tallori to buy by mistake.

To be fair, both brands use K2 as MK-7, both print every vitamin and mineral dose, and both keep their blend doses private.

Can you take Grüns and Tallori together?

It is better to pick one. Both have vitamin D, K2, vitamin C and zinc. Stacking two products means stacking those doses, and with Grüns you would also add iron and vitamin A to whatever your child gets from food.

If you want broad coverage plus bone nutrients, talk to your pediatrician about what your child actually needs. A simple food log for a few days often shows where the real gaps are.

What should you check on any kids vitamin label?

Use this list on Grüns, Tallori or any brand:

  1. Added sugar. Look for 0g, or close to it.
  2. Calcium, vitamin D3 and K2 together. They work as a team for bones. Check that all three are listed with doses.
  3. K2 form. Look for MK-7 with a printed dose.
  4. Age range. Make sure the doses fit your child's age.
  5. Iron and vitamin A. Know if they are in there, so you do not double up.
  6. Honest claims. Be wary of any brand that promises inches or overnight results.

We ranked the main kids options this way in our guide to the best multivitamin for kids, and growth gummies in our best growth gummies guide.

Tallori Growth Gummies are made for ages 5 to 18. They have zero added sugar and are sweetened with monk fruit and xylitol. All 7 vitamin and mineral doses are printed on the label: vitamin C 25mg, vitamin D3 25mcg, vitamin K2 as MK-7 100mcg, calcium 300mg, magnesium 50mg, zinc 6mg and algae DHA 50mg. The botanicals sit in a 112.4mg Tallori Clean Growth Blend, and those single doses are not printed.

Tallori is not a full multivitamin. It skips iron, iodine, vitamin A and the B vitamins on purpose and focuses on the bone and growth nutrients picky eaters most often miss.
