Renzo's Vitamins Reviews 2026: An Honest Parent Comparison With Tallori

Renzo's Vitamins makes good, zero sugar melty tabs for kids as young as 2, but its Picky Eater Multi has no calcium, no magnesium and no omega 3 DHA, and its vitamin K is K1, not K2. For bones, Renzo's sells a second product called Hercules. If you want bone and brain nutrients in one daily gummy for ages 5 to 18, that is where Tallori fits. We make Tallori, so read this knowing we have a side. Every number here comes from each brand's own label, checked in October 2026. Where Renzo's is the better pick, we say so.
You stand in the vitamin aisle. Or you scroll at 11 at night. Your kid eats five foods. Maybe four this week.
You want one thing that covers the gaps. Without a fight at breakfast.
Renzo's built its whole brand on that worry. A dad who is a drug scientist made melty tabs for his picky son, Renzo. It's a real story, and a good one. So the question is not "is Renzo's good." It's "does it cover what my kid needs right now."
What is Renzo's Vitamins?
Renzo's is a family brand from Florida. It makes kids' vitamins as melty tabs. You put one on the tongue and it melts. You can also drop it in water or juice.
The brand sells about a dozen single products. There's a multi, iron, vitamin D, B6, vitamin C, a probiotic, a calm formula and more. Two matter most for this review. The Picky Eater Multi. And Hercules Healthy Growth, its bone product.
Every Renzo's tab we checked is sugar free, vegan and free of the 9 common allergens. The tabs are made in an NSF certified facility, and the multi is Clean Label Project Certified.
What is on the Renzo's Picky Eater Multi label?
The Picky Eater Multi has 18 vitamins and minerals. Kids 2 to 3 take half a tab. Kids 4 and up take 2 tabs.
Here is what 2 tabs give a child age 4 and up, from the label:
- Iron: 13.64 mg
- Zinc: 8.26 mg
- Vitamin D3: 15 mcg
- Vitamin K: 90 mcg, as phytonadione (that is K1)
- Also: vitamins A, C, E, all the B vitamins, iodine, selenium and chromium
What is not on the label: calcium, magnesium and omega 3 DHA.
One tip. Renzo's prints its panel per tablet. Kids 4 and up take 2. So we doubled each line. You can check our math. The % Daily Value column on their label is already set for 2 tabs.
What is in Renzo's Hercules Healthy Growth?
Hercules Healthy Growth is the Renzo's product for bones. It is short and simple. For a child age 4 and up, 2 tabs give:
- Calcium: 200 mg
- Vitamin D3: 20 mcg
- Vitamin K2: 44 mcg, as MK 7
- Aquamin: 5 mg, a mineral mix from red algae
It is grape flavored and sugar free. It has no magnesium, no zinc and no DHA. Renzo's sells a vegan omega 3 tab on its own, called Mighty Omega.
So to get bones plus brain from Renzo's, a family would use the Multi, Hercules and Mighty Omega. That can be up to 6 tabs a day.
Is Renzo's Vitamins sugar free?
Yes. Renzo's tabs have 0 grams of sugar. They are sweetened with monk fruit and xylitol, with mannitol in the base.
That matters. Many kids' gummies carry 2 to 3 grams of added sugar per serving. TruHeight, for example, lists 3 grams per 2 gummies. The American Heart Association says kids ages 2 to 18 should stay under 25 grams of added sugar a day. So one sugary gummy habit can use 12% of that limit before school.
Tallori is zero sugar too, sweetened with monk fruit and xylitol. On sugar, Renzo's and Tallori tie. Credit where it is due.
Why does K1 vs K2 matter on a kids vitamin label?
This is the line most parents skip. Look at the words in brackets after vitamin K.
- K1 shows up as phytonadione or phylloquinone.
- K2 shows up as menaquinone or MK 7.
The NIH says both forms are well absorbed. But MK 7 stays in the body much longer than K1. K1 clears in hours. MK 7 lasts days.
Vitamin K helps a bone protein called osteocalcin hold on to calcium. K2, D3 and calcium work as a team. That is why most growth formulas use K2 as MK 7.
Renzo's Multi uses K1. Renzo's Hercules uses K2 as MK 7. Tallori uses K2 as MK 7, at 100 mcg. Here is our full guide to vitamin K2 for kids.
How much calcium do kids need?
The NIH says kids ages 4 to 8 need 1,000 mg of calcium a day. Kids 9 to 18 need 1,300 mg. That is a lot.
No vitamin covers all of it. Food does most of the work. Milk, yogurt, cheese, beans and greens. A supplement fills part of the gap.
The Renzo's Multi has no calcium at all. Hercules has 200 mg per day. Tallori has 300 mg per day. Both still need food to do the rest.
How does Renzo's compare to Tallori side by side?
Here is what each label says, per day, for a child age 4 and up.
| Per daily serving, age 4 and up | Renzo's Picky Eater Multi | Renzo's Hercules Healthy Growth | Tallori Growth Gummies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Form | Melty tab, 2 a day | Melty tab, 2 a day | Pectin gummy, 2 a day |
| Ages on label | 2 and up | 2 and up | 5 to 18 |
| Sugar | 0 g | 0 g | 0 g |
| Vitamin K | K1 (phytonadione), 90 mcg | K2 (MK 7), 44 mcg | K2 (MK 7), 100 mcg |
| Vitamin D3 | 15 mcg | 20 mcg | 25 mcg |
| Calcium | None | 200 mg | 300 mg |
| Magnesium | None | None | 50 mg |
| Zinc | 8.26 mg | None | 6 mg |
| Omega 3 DHA | None (sold on its own) | None | 50 mg, from algae oil |
| Iron | 13.64 mg | None | None |
| B vitamins, A, E, iodine, selenium | Yes | No | No |
| Herb blend | No | No | Yes, 112.4 mg, single doses not printed |
Renzo's prints all its doses. Tallori prints its 7 vitamin and mineral doses, but its 112.4 mg herb blend does not list single doses. That is a fair point for Renzo's.
Why do parents switch from Renzo's to Tallori?
1. They want bones and brain in one step. Renzo's spreads growth nutrients over two or three bottles. Tallori puts K2, D3, calcium, magnesium, zinc and algae DHA into 2 gummies.
2. They noticed the K1. Parents who read about K2 often flip the Multi bottle and see phytonadione. That is K1. It is not wrong. It is just not the form most growth formulas pick.
3. Their kid will not do the melty texture. Melty tabs are great for little ones who cannot chew well. But some older kids hate the chalky feel. A soft strawberry gummy can be easier to keep up for months.
When is Renzo's the better pick?
Pick Renzo's if one of these fits your family.
- Your child is 2, 3 or 4. Tallori is made for ages 5 to 18. Renzo's is made for toddlers too.
- You want a full multivitamin. Iron, B12, folate, vitamin A, iodine. Tallori has none of these. The Renzo's Multi has all of them.
- Your pediatrician flagged low iron. The Renzo's Multi has 13.64 mg of iron per day. Tallori has none.
- Your kid cannot or will not chew. Melty tabs melt on the tongue or in a drink.
- You want every single dose printed. Renzo's has no blend. Tallori has one.
Why does Tallori leave iron out? Iron needs change a lot by age, sex and diet. The NIH also warns that iron pills are a leading cause of poisoning in kids under 6. So iron is best dosed with your doctor. Read more about iron for growing kids.
None of this makes one brand better. It makes them built for different jobs.
Can kids take Renzo's and Tallori together?
Some parents ask about pairing the Renzo's Multi, for iron and B vitamins, with Tallori, for K2, calcium and DHA. Two cautions first.
Zinc for ages 5 to 8. The NIH upper limit for zinc is 12 mg a day for ages 4 to 8. That counts food too. Tallori has 6 mg. The Renzo's Multi has 8.26 mg. Together that is 14.26 mg from pills alone. That is over the limit. For ages 9 to 13 the limit is 23 mg, so there is more room.
Calcium and iron timing. Calcium can get in the way of iron. The NIH says to take them at different times of day. If your doctor says yes to both, try one at breakfast and one after school.
Either way, ask your pediatrician first.
How long should you try a kids vitamin before you judge it?
Genes set roughly 60 to 80% of a child's adult height. Food, sleep and health shape the rest. A vitamin can help fill gaps. It cannot change the range genes set.
Here is a fair check for any product, Renzo's or ours.
- Weeks 1 to 2: Can you build the habit? Most vitamins fail here. Not the formula. The routine.
- Weeks 3 to 8: Look at the routine. Did they take it most days? Did they ask for it, or did you chase them?
- Weeks 8 to 12: This is the first fair window to judge. Bones grow slowly. Growth comes in spurts, not on a schedule.
- At checkups: Your pediatrician's growth chart tells you more than any label. Bring the bottle.
Even a big study found limits. In a 2023 trial of 8,851 kids, most of them low in vitamin D, a weekly D3 dose for 3 years did not change height. That is why we only say Tallori supports healthy growth. Nobody can promise more.
What do parents say in Renzo's reviews?
On Amazon, the Renzo's Picky Eater Multi is rated 4.2 out of 5 from about 7,500 ratings, as of October 2026. On the Renzo's site, it is rated 4.6 out of 5 from 492 reviews.
- The wins: Toddlers who call it candy. Easy for young kids. It melts in a drink for kids who will not chew.
- The complaints: Chalky texture. Slow to melt. Some kids spit it out. Some parents felt it was a waste for a kid who refused it.
That split is normal for melty tabs. Taste and texture decide if any vitamin gets taken. A formula only helps if your kid takes it every day.
