Which growth gummy is actually the best? We read all 6 labels and found one clear winner
Our hands-on review of TruHeight, Talltitude, Novexa, NuBest, Nourify and Tallori — sugar, K2, calcium and Omega-3 DHA, checked line by line.
Why parents are switching to Tallori: one sugar-free gummy for bones and brain that can replace the daily multivitamin — and kids remind them every morning.
If you've stood in the supplement aisle — or scrolled past a dozen ads — trying to pick a growth gummy for your child, you already know the problem. Every pouch promises "healthy growth." Almost none of them tell you what's actually inside.
So we skipped the marketing and read the labels. All six of them. Sugar per serving. K2 and calcium amounts. Whether Omega-3 DHA is in the gummy or sold separately.
The results weren't close. Only one had DHA built in. Only one printed 100 mcg K2 and 300 mg calcium in the same gummy.
Keep reading for the full side-by-side — and the one we'd give our own kids.
Why most growth gummies don't deliver what's on the label
Here's what most parents are never told: the ingredient list is only half the story. What matters is how much of it actually reaches your child's bones.
Calcium doesn't find its way to growing bones on its own. It needs Vitamin K2 to carry it there, and Vitamin D3 to absorb it in the first place. Leave one out — or under-dose it — and the rest of the formula can't do its job.
Then there's sugar. Many gummies use 3–5 g of sugar per serving to make them taste like candy. That's a daily dose of sugar most parents would never choose on purpose — and it's the first thing we looked for.
What to look for in a growth gummy
Before you buy, flip the pouch over. These are the five things we checked on every label:
Sugar per serving. Zero is the only number we'd accept for something your child takes every single day.
K2 in the right form and amount. Look for MK-7, the longer-lasting form — and a real dose, not a sprinkle.
Calcium alongside it. K2 and calcium work as a team. Both should be printed in the same gummy.
Omega-3 DHA built in. Growing bodies and growing brains share the same years. If DHA is "sold separately," that's another bottle to buy.
A clean base kids will actually take. Pectin (not gelatin), gluten-free, free from major allergens, and a flavor they don't fight you on.
So how do the six most popular growth gummies stack up? Let's find out.
1. Sugar per serving
This was the fastest way to narrow the field. A gummy your child takes 365 days a year shouldn't come with a daily hit of sugar.
Tallori: 0 g sugar — and the only one of the six sweetened with monk fruit and xylitol. Picky eaters love the strawberry taste; parents tell us their kids remind them every morning.
Talltitude, Novexa and NuBest: Sugar-free or "no added sugar" on the label, but sweetened differently. A good start — though as you'll see below, removing sugar is only half the job.
Nourify: We couldn't confirm its sugar per serving. Check the tub before you order.
TruHeight: Contains sugar and glucose syrup. A popular brand — but not what we'd choose for a daily habit.
2. K2 and calcium — in the same gummy
This is where most brands quietly fall short. Calcium without enough K2 is like a delivery with no driver. We looked for both, printed together, at meaningful amounts.
Tallori: 100 mcg Vitamin K2 (as MK-7) and 300 mg calcium in the same serving, plus 25 mcg Vitamin D3 and 50 mg magnesium glycinate. The calcium is calcium citrate — the premium, well-absorbed form, and the most expensive one to use. The only label that printed all of it together.
Novexa: Includes K2, but at 25 mcg — a quarter of Tallori's dose — and no magnesium on the label.
NuBest and Nourify: Pair K2 with calcium in the same gummy — but neither printed 100 mcg K2 alongside 300 mg calcium.
TruHeight and Talltitude: Calcium, but no K2 on the label to carry it where it's needed.
3. Omega-3 DHA — built in or sold separately?
A growth gummy shouldn't only be about height. Ages 5–16 are when bones and brains do their biggest growing — at the same time. DHA supports the second half of that. Most brands leave it out, or sell it as a separate product.
Tallori: 50 mg Omega-3 DHA from algae oil, right in the gummy. Vegan, no fishy taste. The only one of the six with DHA built in.
TruHeight, Talltitude, Novexa, NuBest and Nourify: No DHA in the gummy itself. If you want it, that's a second supplement — and a second daily battle.
